Diego Maradona had plenty of treasures. His wealth is not easy to calculate and he had uncountable material goods that made a fortune to set his whole family for life. But one of all these objects was above all and got an international reputation itself, heavily attached to his name.
But the thing is, Maradona did not choose to keep it. He just gave it to someone else. He gave it to another soccer player. Not a teammate, not another legend, but a rival of his most iconic match. Steve Hodge, who played that famous game for England in 1986 versus Argentina, is the owner of this treasure now.
Hodge is the one who has the shirt Maradona wore in that match, where Diego scored with the Hand of God and later the Goal of the Century, in Estadio Azteca. He and Maradona exchanged shirts after the final whistle, and still keep it. Hodge said it is not on sale and will never be.

However, the former England midfielder said he received thousands of offers for it, with the highest ones reaching the two million pounds. He rejected all of them. According to him, that shirt, that he had kept for 34 years, has a huge sentimental value and money cannot buy it.
