André-Pierre Gignac finally did it. He promised a title when he arrived to Tigres UANL, and he finally won it. The Liga MX side defeated Los Angeles FC on the final game of the Concacaf Champions League final and won the title. Hugo Ayala and Gignac himself were the scorers of the goals that gave the club the wanted cup.

This conquers may be the last one from the French attacker at Tigres. His contract with the club ends on June 2021 and, at his 35 years old, there are several chances for him to try to move as a free agent during the next year. The most interested one on such a thing to happen is David Beckham, president and owner of Inter Miami that wants him at the MLS side.

It wasn’t revealed which was the exact offer that Beckham made Gignac to tempt him to move to Inter Miami, but it is said that his salary could arrive to $6 million, money that only top players as Carlos Vela or Chicharito Hernández earn per year in the U.S. league.

The offer also includes some luxurious apartment and all the mod cons that as a star as him needs to live. Gignac was formed at Lorient B and since then he played for Pau FC, Toulouse and Olympique Marseille. At Tigres he played 243 matches, scoring 143 goals and giving 35 assists.
