The fortune for which Samuel Eto’o could play soccer once again

Samuel Eto’o was one of the most famous soccer players born in Africa ever. He was a legend during the last decade and played in many top European sides. On September 2019 he decided to announce his retirement, after playing at Qatar SC, but now there is a chance for him to come back.

The Cameroonian attacker has received an offer from Racing de Murcia at Spain, a team playing at the third division of the local league, to return to play. During the last weeks he has been thinking on the offer and is seriously considering on coming back, as it was reported.

The offer in not so convincing for him when referring to the economic situation, but there are many sponsorships interested in this comeback happening to gain some money. There is a financial incentive for him to play once again, at least some professional matches, in a non-competitive league.

Eto’o was formed at Kadju Sports on Cameroon and played on Real Madrid, Leganés, RCD Espanyol, RCD Mallorca, FC Barcelona, Inter, Anzhi, Chelsea, Everton, UC Sampdoria, Antalyaspor, Konyaspor and finally Qatar SC, before his retirement. The chance to go back are now big for him, and he will have the final decision.
