Diego Armando Maradona was one of the most famous persons in the whole world. Aged 60, he died the past November 25 after suffering a heart attack in his house in Buenos Aires, Argentina. A couple of weeks before he already had to be hospitalized as he was already suffering some health issues.

The idol asked his adviser Guillermo Coppola to buy for him a Ferrari, but he told him that he wanted black instead of red.

Coppola got an interview with Enzo Ferrari himself and asked him for the car, but the businessman told him that all the cars they made were just red. After saying that he would pay the double of the value, Ferrari agreed and finally made the F40 for $1 million exclusively for Maradona.

When returning to Italy, where he played for Napoli, Corrado Ferlaino, president of the club, decided to pay the vehicle for Diego as a gift.
