Everyone knows who Jorge Campos was on the court. We remember his saves and goals as a forward, as well as his funny comments, but he has a side that few know.

He was born on October 15, 1966 and made most people fall in love with his peculiar personality. A very humble person who did not hesitate for a moment to share his values with others. It all started in 2010, when the ex goalkeeper got involved in amateur soccer and academic education at the first level in Mexico, from there, Campos had a project in mind which he carried out two years later.

This is how in 2012 the Jorge Campos Navarrete Foundation was born, driven by the now commentator and analyst, people of all ages come together to support the children of the beautiful port of Acapulco, to get out of the educational backwardness through sport. All this is also supported by the businessman Miguel Campos Navarrete. This businessman has more than 30 years of experience in this endless struggle for the education of the children of the state of Guerrero, Mexico.

His great efforts have made important companies join his cause, from the online store Classic Football Shirts, the Mexican company Comex to the world renowned brand Nike, they contribute with their little grain of sand.

One of his main achievements is the scholarship that bears his name, The Jorge Campos Scholarship gives students of higher academic level the opportunity to study for one year at Thompson Rivers University, an important study center in Canada for students coming from all over the world.
