Ronaldo Nazario is one of those players who will remain as a legend forever. The Brazilian legend was multi-champion with his clubs and left an indelible mark at Brazil national team. During his years as a soccer player he made a huge fortune, that he could maintain once he was retired.
Ronaldo was formed at Sao Cristovao and then moved to Cruzeiro. Afterwards he jumped to Europe, to play at PSV Eindhoven, FC Barcelona, Inter, Real Madrid and AC Milan, before going back to Brazil to play at Corinthians, his last club before his retirement, on February 2011.
Just for transfers from one club to others, the attacker earned more than $100 million. The most expensive transaction he was involved at was the one from Inter to Real Madrid, for $45 million. To that amount he earned we have to add sponsorship and the contracts he had with each side.
After retirement, Ronaldo invested his money in many businesses: soccer, finances and wine. During many years, he bought stocks of a winery in Valladolid, Spain, and spent a huge fortune. At the age of 44 he is an ex-soccer player who has made a professional career beyond soccer and continues to multiply his savings.
