We all know at this point that Ronaldinho is one of the most controversial players of all time. There are plenty of footballers that enjoy going to parties and celebrate while drinking and dancing. But most of them have to grow up and stop that to become professional.

Well, that is not Ronaldinho’s case. With this kind of mentality, a player like him nowadays could not make it to a big European club. And that’s why his career is so amazing. When he arrived to Flamengo in 2011 he asked for a really weird and unusual clause in his contract.

Ronaldinho’s contract said literally that he could throw two parties a week. He specifically asked for this to be below the amount of money he would get and above his signature. How could a club even consider that lack of professionalism? Well, the Brazilian can make that happen.

It is impossible to figure out how much would the presence of Ronaldinho mean to Flamengo. A lot of shirts around the world with his name were sold after that movement. Besides, probably he had to say no to several teams that did not want that clause in his contract before that.
