The ex-midfielder aged 40 revealed that his mother has COVID-19 and is hospitalized fighting for him life. It wasn’t known about the situation of the woman aged 71, until he played himself decided to reveal it and wrote an emotive post on social media in which he referred about it.

Miguelina Elói dos Santos, as his mother is named, is having a bad moment and trying to recover. Ronaldinho went through a terrible 2020. He was first in prison after it was discovered that he entered Paraguay with illegal documents and then himself contracted COVID-19.

Ronaldinho was one of the greatest Brazilian players ever, many times compared to legends as Ronaldo Nazario or Pele himself. His professional career as a player started in Gremio and then continued at Paris Saint-Germain, FC Barcelona, AC Milan, Flamengo, Atlético Mineiro, Querétaro and Corinthians.
