Rivaldo betrayed Barcelona and took the side of this Real Madrid legend

Some people go beyond the clubs they played for. They are legends of the sport. And get tributes from everybody, almost literally. So Rivaldo, FC Barcelona legend, went out of his way to congratulate this Real Madrid player, icon and friend, asking him for his shirt. And this player sent it.

On his instagram account, the world champion with Brazil in 2002 posted a photo of him holding the Sergio Ramos shirt. He thanked Sergio, said he is one of the best defenders soccer has. Ramos returned the favor posting the same photo on his Instagram stories.

Rivaldo received the Spain shirt Ramos used some time ago with his national team. He did not want to take it too far with a Real Madrid one for respect to the fans of FC Barcelona, the club he played for between 1997 and 2002, winning two Spanish Leagues, one Copa del Rey and one European Supercup.
