Pelé was one of the best soccer players ever. His level is even compared to the one of Diego Maradona, Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo. Despite the polemic about the goals, he scored and incredible amount and gained some very important titles. He is the only player in soccer history to achieve three World Cup titles.
That incredible record puts him in a condition that nobody has. Messi or Cristiano couldn’t gain even one time in the international competition, while the Brazilian striker did it three times. Now, Netflix will premiere a documentary series about his life, showing that specific moment of the conquers.
Pelé won the World Cup in Sweden 1958, Chile 1962 and Mexico 1970. Netflix wanted to show specifically those moments of his life and how he helped his national team to arrive to the top of the world. The series will be available on February 23, despite a new trailer has just been released in the first days of the month.
It was not revealed how much money Pelé will be gaining due to this new business he was involved at, despite it is estimated that he could raise up to a million dollars. All the images have been sold to Netflix and the documentary shows some interviews and talks with the legend revealing secrets of his conquers.
