Nobody has doubts about the quality of Pelé. Diego Maradona, Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo could be better at some point, but he is clearly on the elite of football history. The 80-year-old is making more money now that when he was playing for Santos and this are his main business where he is involved.

After the successful documentary about Michael Jordan, Netflix decided to start making even more investments in this kind of content. They are willing to pay at least $5 million dollars to Pelé for the documentary that is going to premiere next February. And he does not have to do anything more than an interview for the series.

Besides, he has a partnership with FIFA and CONMEBOL as he shows up at every single event. Even if it is an important one like an award ceremony of it is the draw of a less important tournament in South America. Pay for his presence is not cheap for anybody but whatever he is, the cameras are so it is worth.

Finally, there is a new partnership that he made and it is a really weird one. He signed a contract with Fortnite. Now you can play as Pelé on one of the best video games of all time, and they even made an international competition out of it with his name. The Brazilian never stops and he is going to keep making fortunes.
