Pele: Three World Cup titles, 1283 goals according to him, 643 official ones just for Santos. Considered one of the GOATs alongside Diego Maradona, Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and others. Romario: One World Cup title, 1002 goals according to him but more that 700 officially. 14 times top scorer in different leagues, took his talent to FC Barcelona and other top level teams.

But they get along terribly and have made many accusations and insults for each other constantly for years and years. The champion in 1970 started calling Romario an ignorant, just to follow it saying that God forgives ignorants, so does him as a Catholic. Romario took it personal and replied that if Pele was such a Catholic, he would have attended the funeral of his daughter, who he recognized in 1996.

Also, O Baixinho described O Rei as a poet when he is quiet, but when he talks he only talks nonsense, although he actually used another word. Then, Pele criticized the self-proclaimed number of 1002 goals by Romario, saying that the world champion in 1994  counts the goals he scored on beach soccer and beach volleyball.

The conflict between both legends does not seem to stop soon, With Romario dedicated to local politics, Pele has criticized many times his job in Congress. These public enemies make probably one the worst relationships there has ever been between soccer legends, that is still ongoing.
