Diego Armando Maradona lived an incredible life, full of strange experiences and curious moments that appeared as he was one of the best soccer players ever, not to say the best one. After 60 years, the Argentinian legend died last week, on his house on Tigre, Buenos Aires.
There were many things that Maradona left pending. Many of those things were related to his family and his sons, as many of them had a complicated relationship with his father. Another aspect that the player couldn’t achieve even though it was his desire was a requisition he made to Michael Jordan.
When they once talked in an interview, Maradona asked the basketball legend to be the President of the United States. Jordan was never ligated to politics during his professional career, that he played during the mayor amount of time on Chicago Bulls, achieving incredible records.
Maradona had a complicated relationship with the U.S. as he many times he criticized the local governments. It was the wish of the ex-soccer player to watch Jordan as a president, but that was far away from happening. Nowadays, MJ is 57 years old and is one of the owners of the NBA side Charlotte Hornets.
