Diego Armando Maradona was one of the most famous persons in the whole world. Playing soccer, he transformed into the legend and was known by almost everyone on the planet. The historical no. 10 played for teams such as FC Barcelona, Napoli, Boca Juniors, Argentinos Juniors, Sevilla CF, Newell’s and Argentina national team, gaining important trophies.

November 25 was the day in which Maradona died, after suffering some several health issues. Persons from all over the world went out to the streets to pay tribute to his greatest idol. Since his success, he was considered one of the best players in soccer history, compared to Pele, Lionel Messi or Alfredo Di Stéfano.

In 1991, Maradona had a very strange meeting with Colombian gangster Pablo Emilio Escobar Gaviria. The Argentine narrated to a radio in his country that he was reunited with the drug dealer when he was in the famous prison named The Cathedral, constructed specially for him. Other figures as René Higuita were present at that scenario, in which Maradona and Escobar met.

Many years later, Diego refused his own words saying that such an episode did never occur. He was also accused of travelling to hacienda Napoles, where Escobar lived, but denied it. It is yet a myth to confirm is Maradona did really meet with one of the Colombian most famous persons in history or if it was pure fantasy.
