All the children who play soccer dream of being able to become Diego Armando Maradona one day and especially in Argentina. This happened to this young Argentine player who had the same conditions as Maradona but ended up failing, traveling to Algeria and suffering a kidnapping that worried an entire country.

Cristian Colusso dreamed of being able to make a living from soccer and become the new Diego Maradona of Argentina, but fate played him a very bad trick. Colusso got to know Diego Maradona because when he was less than 18 years old he faced Boca when they played in Rosario Central and that same day Maradona told him: "Keep going so you're going to go very far."

Colusso's life was transformed from one moment to another as he went from believing that he could be Maradona to being kidnapped in a city in Algeria. Although it was not that a group of kidnappers had him under their regime, Colusso had taken his passport and they did not want to return it so he could not move from his house due to the dangerousness of Algeria.

The new Maradona after the Argentine consulate saved him from that situation, he tried to play football again but never again did he recover the nickname Maradona again. Finally that nickname was left years later by Lionel Messi and Cristian Colusso ended up in oblivion. Incredibly the career of the new Diego Maradona was frustrated by bad decisions
