FC Barcelona has gone through great times for the first 15 years of the century, winning many leagues, European titles, and also having some of the best teams that this sport has ever had. It was the best period of the history of the club. But things changed, and now they are suffering a crisis that is destroying them inside.

So one of the protagonists of those good years offered himself openly to come back and help. Like many other former players of the institution (Rivaldo, Andres Iniesta, Carles Puyol), he wants to be part of the reconstruction and wants to see FC Barcelona rising again. And hopes to do so if Joan Laporta wins the election.

That former player is the Mexican legend Rafa Marquez. As a defender, he spent seven great seasons at the club. In an interview Laporta gave to the youtuber Iniestazo, he mentioned how cheap was Marquez's signing, and when the interviewer greeted the Mexican international and told him he hoped he was back at the club, Rafa answered 'I wish!'.

Rafa Marquez wore the FC Barcelona shirt between 2003 and 2010, where he played 242 matches, scored 13 goals and lifted 12 trophies. As an usual starter in all those years and winning UEFA Champions League under Frank Rijkaard and Pep Guardiola, he earned his reputation as a legend of his club and Spanish soccer.
