The abrupt death of Diego Armando Maradona still seems something unreal for everyone who loved the greatest player of all time. For this reason, the tributes dedicated to his figure are repeated throughout the world and, some, are simply spectacular. This time, a mural was discovered in the Napolitan city of Frattamaggiore, the birthplace of renowned striker Lorenzo Insigne, a player who always expressed his idolatry towards Maradona.

This last weekend a new mural was added to the city walls that pays honor to the memory of the Pelusa. The presentation of the brand new work of art was accompanied by a large group of Napoli supporters, who gave an impressive show.

The huge painting of Maradona's face is strikingly realistic and five stories high. On the opening day, the fans of the Neapolitan team covered it with a huge sheet with a message written in white letters on a black background: “A star dribbles in the field of clouds. The festive angels sing a chorus. As in life, more than ever, your name shakes the sky”.

After drawing the curtain and showing the world the work of art, they waved numerous flares from the terrace and the surroundings of the building to the respectful applause of those attending the event. It was a fabulous show that soon went viral on social media.
