Less than a month ago, the entire world heard the news of Diego Maradona's passing with extreme sadness. The following legal procedure is being confusing for his successors, given Diego did not leave a will and his lawyer Matías Morla is in conflict with his daughters, with Morla claiming part of the money.

Today, Morla's attorney Mauricio D'Alessandro said among all Maradona's actives like expensive cars, clothes and jewelry, it turned out Maradona was owed a big amount of money from Nicolás Maduro, the president of Venezuela, after a contract they signed where Maradona was the host of a TV show for the 2018 World Cup for Venezuelan TV, paid by the government of that country.

D'Alessandro also stated the heirs must reach an agreement about the methods of payment and the split of the money before they can claim it. That can be tricky because that sum is dollarized, what makes it very huge for what Argentinian currency is at the moment, so everybody will try to get the biggest share they can.

What is happening with Dinamo Brest: the club Maradona owned

Diego Maradona was also the owner of 0,5% of the shares of Dinamo Brest, a club in Belarus. The lawyers involved noticed those shares could be of a huge commercial value, so they are debating if are they going to sell them, keep them, or split them and then every part makes a decision.
