Diego Maradona was a soccer player and one of the best ever, but he also tried his luck as an actor, having a couple of scenes in Argentina at the beginning of the 1980 decade. At that point, he had already impressed his whole country with his skills playing for Argentinos Juniors, his first pro club.

In one of these scenes, he predicted one of the iconic goals he scored versus England in 1986 World Cup quarterfinals, where Argentina won 2-1 with him making the most particular brace ever: a goal with the hand and some minutes later, the best goal of the history of World Cups.

In the movie Te rompo el rating, Diego is running past through the whole defence and the goalkeeper, like he did in the second one, the Goal of the Century. But he did not score because in that scene, a reporter stopped him right before he put the ball into the goal, and ended up missing the chance to win the championship.

After that movie, Diego Maradona joined Boca Juniors, and then his adventure in European soccer started, where he played for FC Barcelona, Napoli and Sevilla. And of course, won the World Cup with Argentina in one of the best displays of soccer of all times in the best match of all times.
