Regarding Diego Maradona's death on November 25th, there has been a lot of talk about his alcohol consumption, and maybe drug consumption too. There was an investigation about whether his death had been due to substances abuse. But the autopsy results were finally revealed.

There is also a court case around about an accussation of manslaughter to his personal surgeon Leopoldo Luque, and his psychiatrist Agustina Cosachov. The claim says they did not take care well of Maradona, and the medications given might have led to some imbalance in his body that caused him the death.

The revealed results of the autopsy were actually sad, it said Diego Maradona had not consumed alcohol nor drugs before his death, and there was no trace of substances aside of the medicine related. He was taking medications for his psychiatric state, but he was given nothing for his cardiac issues.

The saddest part was that he did not die peacefully, but he went through an agony on his bed that lasted between six and eight hours until he finally died. His heart was extracted and weighted 503 grams (1,10 pounds), the double of weight of a normal one. All this information will be extremely valuable for the court case.
