Diego Maradona changed the lives of many people, but this one in particular was incredible since it was a borderline situation. Players' lives have many ups and downs and that happened to this great Argentine player who after suffering many personal problems had decided to take his life until Diego Maradona appeared and convinced him otherwise.

After the death of Diego Maradona, Pedro Monzon decided that it was time to honor him in the best possible way and that is why he decided to tattoo it on one of his arms. Monzon himself admitted that Diego Maradona saved his life in a moment of tremendous depression and that thanks to a few words from Maradona he decided to rethink his problems.

In the 90's Pedro Monzon was one of the best defenders of Argentina. His success was not compared to the depression he suffered and that no one knew about. That is why one day he decided to call Diego Maradona and confess that he was very ill and that he could take his life. That was when Diego Maradona brought out his most human side and convinced him not to.

Like Pedro Monzon, Diego Maradona changed the lives of many people. Monzon had been Diego Maradona's teammate in the 1990 World Cup in Italy and from there he remained an idolatry and a friendship that would later save his life. The same Monzon thanks Diego Maradona that he is alive today and for that reason I honor him with an incredible tatoo.
