The series about his life was ready to be released, but an attorney stopped it and said that Maradona would not have accepted that when he signed before his death.

Sueño bendito (Blessed dream) was the name of the documentary that Amazon was going to release, about Diego Maradona's life. The company got permission from him, who signed a contract months before his death. Now there are accusations saying that he was mislead to sign the authorization.

That is because her ex wife, Claudia Villafane, was characterized as evil and a liar, and everybody in Maradona's circle knows that he would have not accepted it. So Fernando Burlando, her lawyer, delayed the release of the series. Burlando claimed that the reputation problems could create economic damages that will have to be paid by the successors.

Also, he told that the company might have taken advantage of Diego's health conditions to make him sign the permission. He was taking all kinds of medications and sometimes alcohol, so they suspect that Amazon executives handed him the contract when he was under the influence.

The documentary was supposed to be released last month. Now it will be suspended until a judge examines the script and decides if there is any attack to Claudia and his character. If so, there will be some changes, because the series will be watched by millions of people around the world.
