Diego Armando Maradona died on November 25 at the age of 60 after suffering several health issues. The Argentine idol was already experiencing some physical problems during the previous weeks and was even hospitalized. But after suffering a heart attack, he couldn’t resist it and died.

People from all over the world said goodbye to the legend, that was considered one of the best soccer players ever, aside Pele, Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo. Buenos Aires and Napoli were the main cities in which millions went out to the streets to pay tribute to his greatest hero.

On social media, millions of users made posts remembering Maradona and two of them were CR7 and Messi. The difference between them was that the post made by the Portuguese set a record as the one that received more amount of likes during 2020. The one of Messi ended third in that ranking.

Cristiano did not only occupy the first position but also the second one. The post he made on his birthday reached to be the second one with more likes in the year. Despite they are both very popular, the Portuguese has 249 million followers on Instagram and the Argentine 173 million.
