Diego Maradona was well aware of his status, and how loved he was. He knew that a lot of people thought of him as literally a God among the mortals. Adding that to his millionaire lifestyle with unlimited money, he could get almost anything he wanted. But maybe he went too far with it.

On November 27th, two days after his death, it was revealed a document that not even his family knew, that he had signed a month before his passing. Signed by a notary, the paper had a strange wish he wanted to be granted and it had to happen after his death. It was his last wish.

He wanted his body to be embalmed, and then shown in a museum. That was not possible because he was buried in a cemetery and that process would be almost impossible. He wanted that instead of having a monument of him somewhere. He wanted his literal body to be in front of people.

Unfortunately for Maradona, his corpse will not be displayed publically. He thought of himself as someone who belonged to the people, and wanted to act in consequence. He will still have a museum dedicated to him, but it will lack the piece of art he wanted to be there the most: himself.
