One of Barcelona's greatest ever players, Andres Iniesta has taken to the microblogging site, Twitter, to remember the day he arrived at the club's famed 'La Masia' Academy. Iniesta played for only FC Barcelona all his career and won all the trophies imaginable with the Catalan club. He broke into the senior team in 2002, after spending 6 years in the La Masia Academy he arrived at on September 16, 1996. 

Andres Iniesta took to Twitter to say the following words in remembrance of his arrival at La Masia: “25 years back I took one of the most important steps of my life reaching La Masia. And so began my wonderful and special adventure in the FC Barcelona.“

Andres Iniesta played for 18 years for Barcelona, featuring in 758 games and scoring 66 goals. He won 32 titles at Barcelona alongside winning the Euros with Spain and also the FIFA World Cup with the Spanish national team. He is remembered as one of Barcelona's greatest ever played, forming a midfield partnership with Xavi and playing alongside Lionel Messi for over 10 years. Iniesta, Xavi and Messi's time at the club led to the most successful period of Barcelona in history.
