An MLS team wants Jorge Campos as a coach and would make him leave politics

Jorge Campos is well remembered in the MLS for his time in that league. It is more days ago for his birthday, the official MLS page uploaded a video to his Twitter to wish him happy birthday and said that he had been one of the best goalkeepers in history. Now he has the possibility of returning to MLS but from another role.

He had been offered to be mayor of Acapulco but that could wait since he has the possibility of returning to one of his greatest passions and in one of the best teams in MLS. Although it is not to be the main coach, Campos would be the assistant of another Mexican coach who are trying to convince him to arrive.

The Galaxy have just fired Guillermo Barros Schelotto as their coach and are looking to Javier Aguirre as his successor. The idea of LA Galaxy is to put together a team so that Chicharito Hernandez feels comfortable and also get fully into the Mexican market. The arrival of Campos to the LA Galaxy would give a bonus to what they are looking for.
