CONCACAF and FIFA have confirmed the dates and times for the final matches of the Octagonal qualifying round for Qatar 2022.

The CONCACAF Qualifiers began in September 2021 and will conclude after the March 2022 FIFA date with the qualifiers for the World Cup and those who will play their chances in a playoff.

Currently, the virtual invitees to the World Cup are Canadá, who is the leader with 25 points; the United States, second with 21 points; México, who is third on goal difference; and Panamá, with 17 points, has the ticket to the playoffs.

Which places get the ticket to the World Cup?

At the end of the Qualifiers, the top three teams will guarantee their participation in the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar and the fourth-place team will advance to a FIFA intercontinental playoff where it will face the winner of the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) Qualifiers.

The draw for the playoffs took place on November 26. The pairings are as follows: AFC vs Conmebol and Concacaf vs OFC.

The FIFA Intercontinental playoffs, a one-off, will be held on June 13 and 14 in Doha, Qatar.
