The journey to the 2022 winter FIFA World Cup in Qatar is already shaping up with four teams having secured qualification and more teams on the verge of direct qualification and playoffs.

The host nation Qatar is the first country to qualify for the global mundial being the host as it is the custom to have the host qualify automatically. The first country to qualify based on sporting merit having secured the top spot in their group was three times world champions Germany.

Denmark became the second country to qualify for the tournament just a day after Germany. The beautiful thing about Denmark is that they have won all their games so far and have scored 27 goals and are yet to concede a single goal.

The Samba boys of Brazil maintained their long-standing record as the only country to have qualified for all editions of the FIFA World Cup since the first edition in Uruguay in 1930 by qualifying as the group winners of the CONMEBOL qualifying series.
