The 2022 World Cup participating nations are beginning to take shape after countries from Europe and Brazil from South America as well as the host nation Qatar have all qualified.
Qatar qualified automatically as hosts for the competition. Germany became the first country to qualify from the European qualifying series after opening an unassailable lead over North Macedonia in their group. Denmark followed 24hrs later to join Germany as the second team to qualify.
Both Germany and Denmark did not rest on their laurels as they both beat Liechtenstein and Faroe Islands 7-0 and 3-1 respectively after securing qualifications. Brazil followed suit by already securing the top spot in the CONMEBOL qualifying series and have a game against second placed Argentina.
Belgium and France, the two nations who are neighbors in Europe and share a deep history in football joined the list of qualified nations after their 3-1 and 8-0 wins over Estonia and Kazakhstan respectively.
