Ronald Koeman declares war on FC Barcelona to support Lionel Messi

Lionel Messi started a crisis in the club that would have started much sooner if it wasn’t for him. He carried the team for several years and now that he decides that he wants to leave, everyone has something to say about his situation. In a really difficult moment, Ronald Koeman defended him.

In the last press conference, the coach said that the team should respect Lionel Messi’s decision. There is a several group of fans asking the team to force Messi’s renovation or to make him say that he is going to leave. But Koeman knows that it is not an easy decision.

The situation at FC Barcelona right now depends of Lionel Messi apparently. If it is good and they win a trophy is because of him, but now that they got used to it they need it. Because if it does not happen, they would blame the Argentinian. So, what should he do?

The next six months are going to be really important because he has the chance to negotiate a renovation or to look for a new club. There is a huge chance of him going to Manchester City or Paris Saint Germain. And if the club keeps treating him like this, eventually he will leave.
