In August 2021, Stephen Curry signed a 4-year extension worth $215.4m with the Golden State Warriors. This extension guarantees his presence at the club till the end of the 2025/26 NBA season. With his new deal, Stephen Curry became the first and only NBA player so far to sign two $200m+ contracts in their career. Curry's new deal is a significant upgrade on the 5-year, $201m deal he signed in 2017. Now, the Golden State Warriors point guard/shooting guard is guaranteed to earn about $54m yearly from his deal with the NBA side. Patrick Mahomes salary at Kansas City Chiefs

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, Patrick Mahomes signed one of the biggest and longest deals in sports history in 2020. Mahomes put pen to paper with Kansas City Chiefs on a 10-year extension deal worth a whopping $503m. While Mahomes will see out his current $29m-a-year contract till the end of the 2022 NFL season, his new terms will come into effect from the beginning of the 2022 NFL sessions. His $503m deal would see him earn a guaranteed $40m yearly. By mid of his contract, Mahomes is lined up to earn approximately $59m in the 2027/28 season. These are eye-popping figures that no current footballer earns or have never earned.
