At Manchester United, the news of Cristiano Ronaldo's dissatisfaction with the transfer window have hit like a brick. As reported by Diario AS, the Portuguese is ready to take a new step and leave the club due to the lack of signings to give a new direction to the team. The transfer struggles and the fact that United will not play in the Champions League next season are weighing on Ronaldo's future in England.

The situation is made worse by the fact that their primary Premier League rivals have already made top-level signings, with the arrivals of Erling Haaland to Manchester City and Darwin Nuñez to Liverpool.

A few weeks ago Cristiano Ronaldo assured that he hoped it would be a great season for United, however, now he would be aiming to join another club to add some trophies this season and keep on adding to his impressive Champion League records.

Given this situation, United are reportedly on the verge of making a signing that could prove to be key. Tom Keane, a lawyer and brother of Everton defender Michael Keane, is set to join the club as head of transfers to replace Matt Judge. The club is confident that Keane can turn around United’s poor market so far and change Ronaldo’s mind.

Under which conditions would Ronaldo stay in Manchester

United are making efforts to turn the transfer window around, aiming to strengthen the squad to compete with top level teams next season. Besides the transfer market struggles, United are keen on keeping “CR7” in their ranks, that’s why they would offer the super-star the captain’s armband. His ability to lead is unquestioned and he thrives in a position of leadership, it remains to be seen if United’s attempts are enough to keep Cristiano in Old Trafford.
