The English media, and some players, have already highlighted the different footballing approach of the Dutch coach, highlighting in a positive way his vision of soccer and the idea of the game.

Now, five prohibitions have emerged, that seem to be the mantra of the discipline that awaits the players of the first team under Ten Hag's orders and that have been remarked before starting the tour of Thailand and Australia at the end of July.

According to the Daily Mirror these new rules are as follows:

1. Any player arriving late for training or team meetings will be banned from them, without exception.

2. Drinking alcohol during a week in which there are matches is totally forbidden. That means, as a general rule, no drinking throughout the season, as there are virtually always two games a week in the English top-flight.

3. Personal chefs are prohibited. All players must use the Carrington facility as the main source of meals. Ten Hag and his staff have personally reviewed the menus. Each player will also receive a unique meal plan to meet their individual needs, the difference being that it will be monitored by the club.

4. Weight checks will be done and Body Fat Index will be measured weekly.

5. All complaints will be handled by Ten Hag, rather than by agents or assistants.

Ten Hag reign has begun, and he is not taking any prisoners

The Dutch manager has taken a no-nonsense approach as his tenure in United begins. He will have the players under a strict system, in an attempt to bring out the best in each and every one of his players.
