Raúl Jiménez could suffer a major loss with Wolves on the next few days
Tottenham Hotspur is looking to steal one of Raúl's most prolific teammates during this transfer window
Raúl Jiménez has recovered his place amongst Wolves starters after the head injury that kept him out of the pitches for a long time, and although he hasn’t recuperated his numbers, he’s a reliable striker, but he might have to face another problem with the Wolves that could prevent him from scoring as he used to.
It’s not the fact that his team just added a new player during this winter transfer window, 26-year-old Japanese Hayao Kawabe out of Swiss Grasshoppers Club Zurich, that could steal minutes from the Mexican international, rather a departure that could be announced in the next few days.
Tottenham Hotspur is willing to bid again for right-winger Adama Traoré, who was linked to the Spurs during the summer transfer window, but Wolves asking price was way to high for the North London team. Now, they could add the 25-year-old Spanish international for an offer around $27-$30 million.
Adama Traoré’s number with Wolves
Traoré first joined Wolverhampton from Middlesbrough back in 2018 for $27 million. He’s played a total of 151 games, and he’s scored 10 goals and 18 assists during his stint at Molineux. He’s under contract with Wolves until the end of the 2022/2023 season.
