Manchester United don’t want to see youngster Garnacho leave and will make surprising decision to keep him

United's new coach, Erik Ten Hag, has informed the club's sporting management that he wants to count on Argentinean Alejandro Garnacho for next season. The Dutchman has been impressed with the player's reports from last season where he managed to score two goals in the FA Youth Cup final.

Alejandro Garnacho is one of the great promises of Manchester United and now also of the Argentine National Team. There is concern in the English club because the player has not renewed his contract and has proposals to leave. The 17 year-old Argentinean has a contract with Manchester United until June 2023 and the negotiations to renew it have not been successful yet.

According to Tuttosport, Juventus is paying attention to this situation and will keep an eye on the player’s situation in the coming months to make an attempt to sign him in 2023 as a free agent.

Manchester United will be looking for Garnacho to renew his contract but it will also be key to know what new coach Erik ten Hag intends to do. If the Argentine has playing time, he will probably have no problem renewing his contract, although there are still looming concerns about his deal.

According to The Mirror, the 17 year-old gem has received confirmation from Erik Ten Hag, the Red Devils' new coach, that it is his intention to have the Argentine on a permanent basis from the imminent 2022/23 season.
