Today Juventus made official the signing of Dusan Vlahovic, a player who will be with his new team until 2026, but from the information revealed today, it is already known why he was not allowed to leave for Arsenal.

Dusan Vlahovic is resisting his transfer to Arsenal. And his reasons are compelling

In the past week, the most attention on Serie A was the offer that Arsenal made for the player to Fiorentina, to take him for more than 70 million euros.

However, with the player's presentation today by La Vecchia Signora, it became known the powerful reason why Fiorentina did not let Vlahovic go to Arsenal

This was the powerful reason why Fiorentina did not let Dusan Vlahovic leave for Arsenal

The powerful reason was the money Juventus offered for the player, which was much higher than what Arsenal was offering

According to official figures, Fiore received from Juve 81.6 million euros fixed for the player, but in addition, they will also receive another 10 million euros for various variables, so that the transfer would go to almost 92 million euros

While Arsenal had offered Fiorentina just over 70 million euros, an amount that did not end up convincing the Viola Gigliati management, who opted to close this option to Vlahovic.

In this way, Juventus seeks to cover the team's attack, after the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo to Manchester United

Vlahovic was announced by his new team through social networks

The player's arrival was announced through a statement released on the team's social networks boasting the player's goal-scoring ability.

"Twenty goals in 24 appearances, between Serie A and Coppa Italia, in the first part of the 2021/2022 season. Those figures rise to 41 in 64 appearances if added to those in the 2020/2021 season."

The player born in Belgrade on January 28, 2000, started his career at a very young age as at 16 he became the youngest player in history to appear for his local club.

Having started playing for the legendary Partizan Belgrade, the player had a good start to his career which is why he left Serbia for Italy in the summer of 2018, when he agreed to join Fiorentina.

Vlahovic's arrival will also spur changes at Juve that had been in the pipeline for some time but had failed to materialize.

For example, thanks to his arrival, Alvaro Morata's departure to Barcelona could be hastened, although it is Atletico who has the final say

The team's coach, Massimiliano Allegri, had been quite emphatic in January when he said that the Spaniard was not going to leave the club, but the arrival of Vlahovic could change everything for this final stretch of the market.

While those changes are being generated or paused, Dusan Vlahovic already underwent medical tests with Juventus today, when the player arrived in Turin excited and accompanied by his family.

While the figure has not been confirmed, the Serie A striker is expected to receive a salary of €7 million per season

The player became a hit in Serie A having scored 38 goals in the last two seasons combined, one more than Ciro Immobile and at least ten more than any other striker in the Italian league.
