Liverpool will face Real Madrid in the final of the Champions League in a reissue of the final of the 2017-18 season, although this time, they won’t have to face Sergio Ramos and Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mané, and Roberto Firmino are all healthy prior the face-off.

In addition to the three attackers, Jürgen Klopp has improved the roster with Digo Jota and more recently Luis Díaz, making the attack of The Reds one of the strongest in Europe, although they know that having Karim Benzema in front won’t be an easy challenge.

The game against Los Blancos not only looks like a revenge for Liverpool, but also it could mean the last time that some of the most important players in their roster wear Liverpool’s colors, as all Firmino, Mané and Salah could leave over the summer.

Although both Salah and Firmino have informed Liverpool about their desire to remain in Merseyside for at least another year, things with Mané look different, as he refused to acknowledge his future with The Reds for next season, which is why Klopp is already looking for a replacement for him.

Liverpool is already negotiating with his successor

According to reports, not only Real Madrid are interested in adding the Senegalese international to their roster for next season, but also Bundesliga side Bayern Munich, either as a way to convince Robert Lewandowski to stay or to be his successor.

But Klopp is not willing to wait with crossed arms until Mané leaves, which is why he already is in negotiations with the player that will be his successor in Liverpool’s attack, as reports from sports journalist Robert Gutmann (via Sports Illustrated), the Reds are after the addition of Harry Kane.

On his podcast The Anfield Wrap, Gutmann revealed that Liverpool already had talks with Tottenham Hotspur to acquire Kane over the summer, a movement that not only will improve Liverpool’s attack, but also will give Kane a chance of increasing his goaling streak.

Will he arrive at Liverpool?

A year ago, Manchester City were interested in the acquisition of Kane, although Tottenham’s chairman asked $189 million for his transfer. Now, with one year left on his contract and the Citizens having acquired Erling Haaland, Liverpool has become the favorite team to add the English international, although they will still have to pay $114 million, his current transfer market value.
