How to watch Chelsea in FIFA Club World Cup 2021 in the US?

The FIFA World Cup 2021 is around the corner, as the tournament is set to be played from 3 to 12 February, and Chelsea will have their second participation, although they’re looking to lift the trophy for the first time ever, and here we tell you how to watch it from the United States.

FIFA Club World Cup 2021 will be the 18th edition of the FIFA organized tournament between the champion clubs of each of the six different soccer confederations and the host’s nation league champion. This edition will be played in United Arab Emirates for the fifth time.

The current champion is Bayern Munich, who will not be able to defend their title as Chelsea earned UEFA’s spot for this edition after winning the Champions League last season, in a game against Manchester City that ended with a 1-0 victory for the Blues.

The London team will start their participation in the semifinals, same as Palmeiras. The remainder 5 teams will play a single elimination match to determine who will join UEFA and CONMEBOL teams in the semifinals. It’s worth noting that Chelsea was the last European team to lose the final, back in 2012, against Brazilian side Corinthians.

The remainder teams that will take part of the tournament are Tahitian AS Pirae from Oceania; Egyptian Al Ahly Sporting Club from Africa; Saudi Arabian Al Hilal Saudi FC and Emirati Al Jazira Club from Asia; Mexican FC Monterrey from North America and Brazilian SE Palmeiras from South America.

Chelsea will debut on February 9 against the winner of Al Hilal and Al Jazira/AS Pirae -as they’ll have a previous play-off game to see who plays in the second round-.
