Cristiano scores hat trick to lead Manchester United past Tottenham

Manchester United beat Tottenham 3-2 thanks to Cristiano Ronaldo, who once again confirmed that age is just a number and that the greats do not have to worry about those who want to retire them early. The Portuguese took Tottenham down and scored the second hat trick of his career in the Premier League with Manchester United at the age of 37. No big deal.

It was the highlight of the day and Old Trafford was prepared for it. Bruno Fernandes missed the match due to illness and it was Pogba who played as a playmaker. They moved from side to side until Reguilón put it in the area, where Maguire entered at ground level to send the ball into De Gea's net.

Little by little the minutes of the second half wore on. Hugo Lloris once again denied Cristiano a hat trick, but when he is loitering so much in the box, there is a real problem.

And there it was. The Portuguese suspended in the air as best he knows how to do to put his head and place the third, and the hat trick in his particular account. There is little to do when Cristiano has an afternoon like this and that was the feeling that reflected on Antonio Conte's face. Tottenham wanted and deserved more, but CR7 wanted the day for himself.
