Joao Cancelo was not in the squad for the game against Atletico Madrid but played in the game before against Napoli in the Champions League. Barcelona went on to win 3-0 against Atletico Madrid in La Liga, and one of the players who scored a goal was Fermin Lopez. Lopez scored a header in the 65th minute and sealed the 3-0 win away from home. After the game, Fermin Lopez was interviewed to give his thoughts, and he dedicated the win for Joao Cancelo.
