Thomas Tuchel will officially be available this summer for any European club. His time at Bayern Munich has not been great, and it will come to an end this summer after the German giants released a statement saying that both parties have agreed to end the partnership at the end of the season. Despite struggling with Bayern this season, Tuchel is still ambitious to work after the end of the season. He has two likely destinations, a Premier League team, and FC Barcelona.

Bayern Munich CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen spoke about the announcement of Tuchel leaving the club this summer. Dreesen said, "In an open, good conversation, we came to the decision to mutually end our collaboration in the summer. Our goal is to carry out a sporting realignment with a new coach for the 2024/25 season. Until then, every individual at the club is expressly challenged to achieve the maximum possible in the Champions League and the Bundesliga. I also explicitly hold the team responsible. Especially in the Champions League, we are convinced that after the 0-1 defeat in the first leg at Lazio, we will advance to the quarter-finals in the second leg in our sold-out Allianz Arena with our fans behind us."

Tuchel joined Bayern last year and signed a 2-and-a-half-year contract with the club. He replaced Julain Nagelsmann, who was sacked mid-season last year. Nagelsmann earned around 6.2 million euros, but according to Diario AS, Tuchel's salary is 10.5 million euros. Tuchel wants to coach next season in the Premier League and is open to a move to FC Barcelona. Tuchel would like to return to the Premier League but coaching another team besides Chelsea, while FC Barcelona seems likely because of his respect towards Spanish football.

Thomas Tuchel with Bayern Munich earns more than Xavi at Barca

While Tuchel earns 10.5 million euros with Bayern, he will have to reduce his wages if he wishes to join FC Barcelona this summer. Xavi earns a $8.5 million salary with FC Barcelona. The 10.5 million euros Tuchel earns is more than most coaches in the Premier League, including Erik Ten Hag, who earns around 9 million euros, and Mikel Arteta, who reportedly earns 8.3 million pounds.
