Jurgen Klopp's announcement of leaving Liverpool at the end of the season has left the football world respecting the manager's decision. After leading the team for nine years, Klopp has left a great legacy at Liverpool. Klopp will take a one-year break from football and has stated he will not coach a club or country next year.

Klopp has won the Champions League, the Uefa Super Cup, the FIFA Club World Cup, the Premier League, the League Cup, the Community Shield, and the FA Cup. A player who has faced Liverpool a couple of times in the Champions League is Toni Kroos from Real Madrid. Kroos has gotten better of Liverpool in two Champions League finals, but he respects and admires Klopp's work at Liverpool.

Kroos regards him as the most popular German manager, even though he coached away from Germany for nine years. Kroos says, "Although he’s been working abroad, the polls would say that he is, by far, the most popular coach in Germany & I think the same in England. That means something. The recognition he got there is not even enough to describe what he did there. For all Liverpool and football fans, Jürgen Klopp is synonymous with a certain loyalty, especially dedication, love for the club, and success. Now he is a legend in Germany, a legend in Liverpool and England.”
