Florian Plettenberg from Sky Sports Germany reports new talks between Bayern and Alphonso Davies' management will take place this week. Max Eberl is now in charge of the negotiations. Bayern Munich is offering a new contract until 2029 with a gross salary of around $12-14 million per year. Davies, meanwhile, is asking for up to $21 million. If no agreement is reached this week, then Davies' summer departure would become inevitable. If Real Madrid meets Davies' $20 million a year salary, they would have an edge to sign him.

Bayern Munich sporting director Cristoph Freund spoke about the Alphonso Davies contract talks. Freund does not rule out Davies renewing with the club soon. Freund said, "It's not unlikely at all.
