Liverpool are currently losing 1-0 to Luton Town at Anfield in the Premier League. Liverpool needs a win to remain league leaders, while Luton needs a win to escape out of the relegation zone. Liverpool is suffering an injury crisis and does not have some of their star players against Luton Town.

Liverpool was as intense as always at Anfield and had chances to open the score. Luis Diaz was near the box but couldn't take a shot. In the 5th minute, Diaz was close to scoring as he released a shot this time. His shot goes wide past the left post. Liverpool had five corners in the first 10 minutes as they tried to score. They would get punished for bringing many players forward.

Luton Town opened the score at Anfield in the 12th minute. Chong makes a run in the Liverpool box from a throw-in and takes a shot at goal. Chong’s shot goes through Kelleher’s legs, and it falls to Ogbene. Ogbene heads the ball into the empty net, and Luton shocks Liverpool.

Liverpool tried responding back quickly but the Liverpool players took a long time to release shots on target. Luton Town started to create more chances, but Liverpool was enough to recover the ball back

Luis Diaz continues to create chances for Liverpool but is struggling to finish them
