Manchester City and Chelsea drew 1-1 at the Etihad Stadium. Man City and Chelsea needed a win to climb up the Premier League table. Man City's 11-game winning streak comes to an end while Chelsea go undefeated for three consecutive games. Man City is third in the Premier League with 53 points, while Chelsea is 10th with 35 points.

Late in the first half, Nico Jackson created this Chelsea play that led to the opener. Jackson flicks the ball behind him to Palmer and starts a run. Palmer then plays a great ball to Jackson, who runs towards goal. Jackson finds a great pass to the right side for Sterling. In the 78th minute, De Bruyne passed a perfect ball for Haaland in the box. Haaland was unmarked, but his header goes over the bar.

In the 83rd minute, after a shot from Kyle Walker blocked, the ball goes to Rodri. In the box, Rodri smashes the ball towards the net, and a deflection causes the ball to go in. Etihad Stadium went wild as Man City finally found the equalizer. VAR checked for a possible handball late in the game, but it was not given. Man City rescue a point against Chelsea.
