Despite lowering his wages tremendously, Mbappé has reportedly agreed to join Real Madrid this summer. He earns around 1 million euros per week with a yearly salary of around 61 million. PSG has offered Mbappé another big offer to stay in Paris for a few more years. It is a tempting offer, but Mbappé would be willing to sacrifice that money to join Real Madrid next season. Although Mbappé is willing to make the move happen, his entourage is not convinced of what the Spanish giants offer him.

According to Mario Cortegana from The Athletic, Kylian Mbappé has yet to decide whether to stay at PSG or join Real Madrid this summer. Mbappé was leaning towards joining Madrid, but members of his entourage have been left unconvinced by the Spanish club’s offer, which is delaying the process. Real Madrid's offer for Mbappé in 2022 was a €130m signing-on fee and €26m annual salary. Their current offer is lower than this. Mbappé's entourage is divided on how to proceed. Some inside his entourage think Real Madrid's offer is lower than Mbappé's current salary at PSG. Florentino Pérez feels he has done all possible to sign Mbappé and hopes and believes he will accept.
