Manchester City has dominated the Premier League in the last couple of years. Man City has won five of the last six Premier League seasons. The amazing success has come down to the elite players in the squad managed by Pep Guardiola. Although they do receive praise for the brand of football they play and for the records they hold in such a short amount of time, the club has received lots of criticism for the amount of spending. Man City are accused of breaching Financial Fair Play rules starting from 2009 to 2018. The club won three Premier League titles, an FA Cup, and three League Cups.

A Premier League legend spoke about the Man City charges and wants to give the team and the club credit for their achievements. Arsenal legend Ian Wright was on Sky Sports talking about the title race in the Premier League between Man City, Arsenal, and Liverpool. Wright couldn't help but mention about the situation Man City is going through.

Wright said, "We can't speak about Man City without speaking about the fact there is 115 charges. The one thing I would like more than anything else is for that to be gone so you can give the team and the manager the love and flowers they deserve. Because when you speak about them, there's an elephant in the room. With this rivalry, you want to speak about them without saying 'yeah, but...' It's not fair on the players or the club, so the sooner that's gone the better."
