German reports suggest that Manchester City and Liverpool have approached Joshua Kimmich. He is aware of the interest from Barcelona, but he also realizes that the English clubs will be able to fulfill his financial demands, unlike Barça. His close camp prefers to move to Spain, but Kimmich is leaning towards the idea of moving to England – preferably Liverpool or Man City.

Kimmich talked to BILD about his future at Bayern Munich. When asked about new contract talks, Kimmich said, "No one has spoken to me yet. We'll see what happens. For me, the most important thing is that I perform well; I can’t influence the rest." When asked if he is comfortable in Bayern, Kimmich said, "Yes. And in Munich, I have a few kids. It's not so bad here - even though we haven't been quite as successful in terms of football in recent years. I have to say very clearly that I haven’t gone to bed happy every night for the past two or three years."

Pep Guardiola played a key role in Kimmich's development at Bayern Munich

Guardiola coached Bayern Munich from 2013 to 2016, and during his time, he got to coach a young Kimmich. Kimmich played as a right-back who used to invert in the midfield. Kimmich started to play the center defensive midfielder role for many years but he looks to back at his original position as a right back. Kimmich has played right back for Bayern in the last four games.
