Real Madrid are more than content with the performances of their squad this season. Two in particular who are having an amazing season are Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Jr. Bellingham has received lots of praise after scoring 16 league goals this season and providing 3 assists in 21 games. Vinicius Jr has missed a couple of games due to injury but has provided some positive stats this season as well.

Vinicius' goal and two assists has put him with 7 goals and 4 assist in 15 La Liga matches. Vinicius is now tied as the third top goal scorer for Real Madrid in La Liga along with Joselu. Vinicius Jr has scored six goals and provided three assists in 8 games in 2024 since coming back from injury. Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti was pleased to see his performance and called him the best player in the world. Ancelotti said, "Top 3 players in the world? Vinicius, Bellingham and Rodrygo. Girona manager Michel spoke after the game and said Vinicius is the player at 1v1. Vinicius was too much for Girona right back Yan Couto to handle. Michel said, "Viní is the best in the world when it comes to 1v1. I told him sometimes we have to stop him with fouls because of how good he is, but with sportsmanship. Viní can sink you. He makes teams put 8 players behind the ball."
Vini's teammate Bellingham also calls Vinicius the best player in the world despite himself getting labeled as the best player currently. Bellingham said, "For me, when he's [Vinicius] in that mood, he's the best player in the world. Vini is just such a joy to watch and a joy to play with. Not just as a player, but as a person.
