FC Barcelona is analyzing which players they want to sell in order to gain funds for potential new signings for next season. While the club has rejected offers for Ronald Araujo, the club is looking to potentially sell two defenders this summer to help with their financial issues as well. Frenkie De Jong was a name many reports suggested would be leaving the club at the end of the summer to join another club for a big transfer fee. De Jong seems to stay as he stated that he was happy at the club. Other players may not have the luck to stay longer as FC Barcelona is open to selling players who could be valuable.

Along with Araujo, Pau Cubarsi is also a player in the club who is highly valuable to the team. The young center-back has impressed Xavi and the rest of the Barca players with his composure at a young age. Cubarsi has played nine matches in La Liga for FC Barcelona this season, where he started in eight games. Marca reports that Cubarsi is part of the list of players that will not be for sale. Araujo, Gavi, Pedri, Cubarsi, Balde, Fermín, and, above all, Lamine Yamal are a guarantee of the future on which the new Barcelona must be based.

Sport reports Barça have decided to sell two center-backs in the summer, as they need money to focus on their transfer targets. Araujo and Cubarsi are not for sale, so the options are Kounde, Christensen, Iñigo Martinez, Eric García, Lenglet, and possibly Chadi Riad. Kounde is the most valuable out of these options, which could mean it is likely he will leave this summer.
